Rename your Word document file from .docx to .zip extension. DOCX files are actually zip archive files that can be extracted with the appropriate file extension. We recommend you make a copy of the document before changing the file’s extension.
Extract the renamed .zip file to a location on your device. Open the resulting zip folder to access all the internal files of the document, including all images in the document.
Now you can search for any image files within the extracted zip archive content. In many cases, you will find the media files if you navigate to a folder named “media”.
